Jason Reed

Former Director of Technology & Operations

Jason Reed was the Director of Technology & Operations at BPR from 2014 to 2023.

Jason grew up in the small community of Wears Valley, TN just outside of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg TN. After graduating from Warren Wilson College he started his career at Clear Channel Asheville, now iHeartRadio. In five years’ time Jason worked his way from being a sales assistant to IT Manager for both the Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC markets. From there Jason moved to San Francisco in 2008 and worked as an IT consultant for many prominent venture capital and startup companies. Jason returned to Asheville, or “his home” as he says, in 2013.

Jason spends his spare time with his wife and two children hiking in the mountains, gardening at home, and enjoying the amazing food, beer and musical offerings of the area.
