Jodi John Pippin
Jodi John Pippin is the Membership Associate at Blue Ridge Public Radio, coordinating the Sustaining Membership Program, the Generation Listen group and the Blue Ridge Public Radio Volunteers. Jodi was born and raised in Florida, but spent her summers in the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she developed a deep love for this region. Jodi holds a BS in Cultural Anthropology from Appalachian State University with a minor in Folklore & Storytelling, and completed the first half of her Masters in Architecture at UNC-Charlotte before starting a family. She and her husband Chuck live in Asheville and have three children.
Since 2010, Jodi has been working in the non-profit sector through arts administration, development, membership and community relations. Her favorite aspect of this type of work is seeing the positive effect that the arts, in spoken word and music, can have on someone’s life. Some of Jodi’s passions include songwriting, expressionistic painting, cooking and outdoor adventuring. A lifelong fan of public radio, Jodi is thrilled to be a part of such a welcoming and vibrant team of people at Blue Ridge Public Radio.
